Chile's ENAP begins programed oil refinery maintenance
SANTIAGO, March 2 (Reuters) - Chilean state energy firm ENAP said that it was starting a 64-day programed maintenance at its Bio Bio oil refinery on Wednesday, adding that fuel supply to the country was not expected to be affected.
The 116,000 barrel-per-day plant is one of two major refineries in Chile, which imports almost all its fuel.
The $5 million maintenance project at Bio Bio, located in southern Chile, would be less extensive than in recent years, but should improve efficiency, said ENAP. (Reporting by Fabian Cambero, Writing by Rosalba O'Brien, Editing by W Simon)
