PUNTO FIJO, Venezuela, April 26 (Reuters) - Venezuela's major Paraguana refining center was operating at around half capacity due to several idled units, while the Amuay refinery's fluid catalytic cracker restarted on Monday, a union boss said, citing an internal report.
The roughly 645,000 barrel-per-day Amuay was operating at around 360,000 bpd, while adjacent 310,000 bpd Cardon was at 110,000 bpd, union boss and fierce government critic Ivan Freites said on Tuesday. (Reporting by Mircely Guanipa; Editing by Marguerita Choy)
