Brazil's Braskem names Musa as chief executive

SAO PAULO, May 2 (Reuters) - Brazilian petrochemical chemical company Braskem SA has named Fernando Musa, the head of the company's Americas operation, as its new chief executive, replacing Carlos Fadigas, according to a security filing on Monday.

The company said Fadigas would continue with Braskem's controlling shareholder Grupo Odebrecht and would help with Braskem's efforts to expand internationally. (Reporting by Caroline Stauffer; Editing by Leslie Adler)
