Japan refiner Nansei restarts marine ops after typhoon passes
TOKYO Oct 6 (Reuters) - Japanese refiner Nansei Sekiyu restarted marine berth operations at its 100,000 barrels-per-day Nishihara refinery in Okinawa earlier on Monday, a company spokeswoman said, after a typhoon barrelled into southwestern Japan over the weekend.
The refiner, which is wholly owned by Brazil's Petrobras , suspended sea operations late on Friday ahead of the arrival of Typhoon Phanfone. The storm did not impact crude oil refining operations at the plant. (Reporting by James Topham; Editing by Joseph Radford)
