S.Korea's KOMIPO seeks 250,000 T coal for Q4
SEOUL, Aug 22 (Reuters) - Korea Midland Power Co Ltd (KOMIPO) is seeking a total of 250,000 tonnes of bituminous coal for shipping in the fourth quarter of 2016 via spot tenders, the utility said on its website (www.komipo.co.kr/kom_eng). The tenders will close at 2 p.m. (0500 GMT) on Aug. 26 and other details are as follows: TONNES(M/T) SPECIFICATION (NCV) SHIPPING SCHEDULE 125,000 min. 5,700 kcal/kg Q4 2016 125,000 min. 5,700 kcal/kg Q4 2016 *Note: NCV stands for Net Calorific Value. The utility said for the first 125,000-tonne lot, Russian and Chinese coals are not allowed, while it seeks only Western Russian and Colombian coals for the second one.
