MADRID, May 13 (Reuters) - Spanish builder and services firm FCC on Wednesday reported a 0.6 percent rise in first-quarter core profit to 169.3 million euros ($190 million), helped by its water and environment services divisions.
The firm, in which Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim has become the largest investor following a 1 billion euro capital increase carried out to pay down debt, also said net profit was 6.2 million euros on the period compared to a 31 million euros loss in the first three months of 2014.
