Paraguay says inflation decelerates to 3.7 pct yr/yr in Sept
ASUNCION Oct 2 (Reuters) - Annual inflation in Parguay decelerated slightly in September to 3.7 percent due to a fall in the prices of some foodstuff and combustibles, the central bank said on Friday.
On a month-on-month basis, Paraguay's consumer price index fell 0.1 percent. The prices of beef, dairy products and grains in particular dropped.
The central bank aims to keep inflation in 2015 at 4.5 percent, plus or minus 2 percentage points. It expects economic growth of 4.0 percent this year. (Reporting by Mariel Cristaldo; Writing by Sarah Marsh)
