Repsol says global reserves up 17 pct on year

MADRID Feb 26 (Reuters) - Spanish oil major Repsol said on Wednesday its reserves worldwide stood at 1.515 billion barrels of oil equivalent at December 2013, mostly located in Latin America, a 17 percent rise from end-2012.

The company posted a record reserve replacement ratio, the level of proven reserves against the amount of oil and gas produced, at 275 percent in 2013, the highest in the industry worldwide. (Reporting By Sonya Dowsett; editing by Keiron Henderson)
