LISBON, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Shares in Portugal Telecom jumped 14 percent to 1.39 euros on Monday following a 1.35 euros a share takeover bid for the company by Angola’s richest woman, Isabel dos Santos, announced the previous day.
Portugal’s market regulator CMVM had earlier suspended trading in the shares until 1230 GMT.
The broader market in Lisbon was up 1.5 percent, extending its gains thanks to the Portugal Telecom rise. The shares rolled back slightly to 1.34 euros a share by 1235 GMT. (Reporting By Andrei Khalip, editing by Axel Bugge)
