Eni, Saipem, Tenaris stocks down after news of Vallourec impairments
MILAN Jan 29 (Reuters) - Shares in Italy's energy major Eni , oil services contractor Saipem and tubes supplier Tenaris were down more than 2 percent in early trade after news of bigimpairments by France's steel pipes maker Vallourec.
Vallourec said earlier on Thursday recent turmoil in the oil markets forced it to take an impairment charge of between 1 billion ($1.1 billion) and 1.2 billion euros on the carrying value of its assets.
