Spain's Gas Natural 2015 core profit up 8.6 pct, misses forecasts
MADRID Feb 3 (Reuters) - Spanish energy group Gas Natural posted on Wednesday a 8.6 percent rise in full-year core profit to 5.26 billion euros ($5.74 billion) mainly driven by its Chilean electricity unit CGE and slightly missing analysts' predictions.
Full-year net profit rose by 2.7 percent to 1.50 billion euros, above that forecast in a Reuters poll of analysts.
Executives will hold a conference call at 0900GMT in which analysts will look for the company's new strategic plan expected in the first quarter of 2016, and if Repsol is considering selling part of its 30 percent stake in the company.
