Peru's central bank expects inflation to ease in December
LIMA Dec 11 (Reuters) - Peru's central bank expects the rise in consumer prices in December to be lower than November's 0.34 percent spike, the bank's chief economist Adrian Armas said Friday.
The central bank hiked the benchmark interest rate on Thursday to 3.75 percent to tame above-target inflation. (Reporting By Mitra Taj; Editing by Andrew Hay)
