Peru's economy grew 3.7 pct yr/yr in March-government

LIMA May 16 (Reuters) - Peru's economy grew by 3.7 percent in March from the same month a year ago, lower than expected as a surge in copper production eased, government data showed Monday.

A Reuters poll had forecast a 4.1 percent year-on-year expansion. (Reporting by Teresa Cespedes)
