Copper production at Codelco Salvador mine hit by strike - union
SANTIAGO, Sept 5 (Reuters) - Striking workers at Codelco's small Salvador copper deposit in Chile have blocked access to the mine and are affecting production, a union representative said on Monday.
The union last week said it would go on strike after failing to reach agreement in contract talks. Codelco could not immediately be reached for comment on Monday. (Reporting by Fabian Cambero, Editing by Franklin Paul)
