Spain's Abertis agrees to sell Mexican airport assets
MADRID, Sept 17 (Reuters) - Spanish infrastructure group Abertis on Wednesday said it had agreed to sell its 33.33 percent stake in Mexico's Aeropuertos Mexicanos del Pacifico (AMP) for $222 million to Promotora Aeronautica del Pacifico.
AMP has a 17.41 percent stake in Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico, which operates 12 airports in the country.
Abertis said the sale was part of its strategy to shed all of its airport assets, and that it had so far made a 10-million-euro (12.96 million US dollar) net gain from disposals in this segment. (1 US dollar = 0.7717 euro) (Reporting by Sarah White; Editing by Julien Toyer)
