Spain's Abertis misses full-year profit forecast on weaker Latam currencies
MADRID Feb 18 (Reuters) - Toll road operator Abertis posted on Wednesday a 6.2 percent rise in full-year net profit to 655 million euros ($746 million), although it missed analysts' forecast as it was hit by weaker currencies in Brazil, Chile and Argentina.
Revenues came in at 4.89 billion euros, up 7 percent, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) were 10.5 percent higher at 3.12 billion euros, thanks to improved road traffic in Spain where the positive trend continued in the first weeks of 2015.
