BRIEF-Spain's Gas Natural H1 EBITDA up 10.5 percent, in line

July 29 (Reuters) - Spain's Gas Natural :

* Says core profit (EBITDA) rose 10.5 percent to 2.7 billion euros ($3 billion) in the first half from a year earlier, in line with an average forecast in a Reuters poll

* Says EBITDA was driven by contribution from its purchase of Chilean electricity distributor CGE.

* Says net profit fell 19.4 percent to 751 million euros in the six-month period from a year earlier, slightly above a Reuters poll forecast for 737 million euros
