ThyssenKrupp CEO sees no sense in keeping Brazil plant
FRANKFURT Nov 20 (Reuters) - Germany's ThyssenKrupp would like to sell its Brazilian steel plant in the medium term, after returning it to profitability, its chief executive said on Thursday.
"In the medium term... we don't consider it sensible and it's simply not strategically sustainable to hold onto a pure slab plant at ThyssenKrupp," Heinrich Hiesinger told a news conference after the company reported full-year results. (Reporting by Georgina Prodhan; Editing by Maria Sheahan)
