OSLO, Sept 4 (Reuters) - Norwegian oil and gas firm Statoil has expanded its presence offshore Colombia by acquiring shares in two deepwater licenses from Spain's Repsol , the firm said on Thursday.
Statoil will acquire 10 percent from Repsol in the Tayrona license operated by Brazil's Petrobras, which includes the Orca-1 exploration well currently being drilled, and 20 percent in the Guajira Offshore 1 license operated by Repsol, it said in a statement.
The deals are subject to approval of the National Hydrocarbons Agency of Colombia. (Reporting by Nerijus Adomaitis, editing by Gwladys Fouche)
