Brazil's Eneva made operating profit in Q1 -shareholder E.ON

FRANKFURT May 13 (Reuters) - Brazilian energy group Eneva had positive operating earnings in the first-quarter, Klaus Schaefer, chief financial officer of major shareholder E.ON, said on Tuesday.

E.ON holds about 38 percent in Eneva, which is scheduled to report first-quarter results later on Tuesday, but said a day earlier it would raise its stake in the company by investing another 200 million euros ($275.11 million).
