PARIS, May 15 (Reuters) - Chile's Invexans, the top shareholder in cable maker Nexans SA said on Thursday it had no plan to cut its stake the group or increase it above 30 percent and did not seek to take control of the French company.
Nexans said earlier on Thursday the Chilean copper group had asked to end the agreement that locks its holding at between 25 and 28 percent and gives it the right to appoint three board directors. Invexans owns 28 percent of Nexans.
