Andritz posts Q2 profit beat, sticks to outlook
VIENNA Aug 7 (Reuters) - Austrian engineering group Andritz AG beat market expectations for second-quarter results and said it still saw significantly higher net profit and slightly higher sales this year.
Earnings before interest, tax and amortisation (EBITA) rose 2.5 percent to 84.8 million euros ($113.5 million) on flat sales, while order intake held steady at 1.24 billion. Analysts polled by Reuters had expected EBITA to slip 5.9 percent to 77.8 million.
