COPENHAGEN, May 8 (Reuters) - Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems said on Friday it had received a 149 megawatt turbine order for a wind project in Mexico.
The order was for 45 units of the V117-3.3 MW turbine for the Tres Mesas Wind Farm project in Mexico, Vestas said in a stock exchange announcement.
The contract includes delivery, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a 10 year service agreement, Vestas said.
Installation of the first turbines was expected to start first quarter 2016.
Wind turbine orders with a value above 500 million Danish crowns ($75.16 million) are disclosed by Vestas as stock exchange announcements, while smaller ones are published as press releases on its website.
