Codelco Q1 copper output 390,000 tonnes

SANTIAGO, May 26 (Reuters) - Chile's state-run Codelco produced 390,000 tonnes of copper from its wholly owned mines in the first quarter, the world no.2 copper miner said on Friday, down 11 percent from a year ago.

It reported a pre-tax profit for the three months to end-March of $534 million, with cash costs running at $1.34 per pound of copper.
