RIO DE JANEIRO, Feb 25 (Reuters) - Brazil’s state-run oil company Petroleo Brasileiro SA recorded net income of 6.28 billion reais ($2.68 billion) in the fourth quarter, the company said in a securities filing on Tuesday.
Net sales, or total sales minus sales taxes, was 81.03 billion reais in the three months ended Dec. 31, the statement said. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, or EBITDA, was 15.55 billion reais.
Petrobras reported a full-year profit of 23.57 billion reais in 2013, 11 percent more than in 2012.
