RIO DE JANEIRO, July 8 (Reuters) - Brazilian oil company HRT Participacoes em Petroleo SA said on Tuesday it bought the 40 percent of offshore Polvo oilfield that it doesn’t already own from Denmark’s A.P. Moller-Maersk.
No price was disclosed in the statement announcing the purchase. The sale will require approval of Brazil’s petroleum regulator ANP. The field is located northeast of Rio de Janeiro. (Reporting by Jeb Blount; Editing by Jeffrey Benkoe)
