Uruguay says July inflation was 0.32 pct, 12-month rate 5.24 pct

MONTEVIDEO, Aug 3 (Reuters) - Consumer prices in Uruguay rose 0.32 percent in July, bringing the country's 12-month inflation rate to 5.24 percent, according to data released by the government on Thursday.

That was within the central bank's target range for inflation between 3 percent to 7 percent in 2017. Prices have risen a cumulative 4.66 percent so far this year. (Reporting by Malena Castaldi; Writing by Luc Cohen; Editing by Chris Reese)
