BUENOS AIRES, Aug 1 (Reuters) - Argentina’s tax revenue rose 31.8 percent in July compared with a year earlier to 237.326 billion pesos ($13.5 billion), the AFIP tax agency said on Tuesday.
Argentina’s tax collection has begun to exceed inflation in recent months. In June, 12-month inflation in the greater Buenos Aires area was 21.9 percent, while tax collection rose 29.8 percent. The government has not yet published July inflation data.
