Argentina economy likely to grow 2.7 pct this year - World Bank President

BUENOS AIRES, Aug 17 (Reuters) - Argentina’s economy will likely grow 2.7 percent this year, slightly below the government’s estimate of around 3 percent, World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim said in a joint press conference with President Mauricio Macri on Thursday.

Kim said the bank planned to make available new funds of up to $2 billion in Argentina next year between the public and private sectors.
