Argentina 12-month inflation soars to 25.5 percent

BUENOS AIRES, May 15 (Reuters) - Consumer prices in Argentina rose 2.7 percent in April according to official data, higher than the 2.6 percent expected by analysts, official data showed on Tuesday.

That brought 12-month inflation to 25.5 percent, well above the central bank’s goal of 15 percent for 2018. (Reporting by Hernan Nessi and Hugh Bronstein; Writing by Caroline Stauffer Editing by Alistair Bell)
