COPENHAGEN, May 18 (Reuters) - Vestas reacted on Monday to news from industry website Recharge that it had won a 185 megawatt order in Chile, saying it only announces orders when unconditional offers are made.
Spain’s Elecnor said last week it had signed a deal with Latin American Power to build Chile’s largest wind farm. Recharge said Vestas had been picked to provide the turbines.
“As soon as the project translates into a firm and unconditional order in accordance with Vestas’ definition, Vestas will disclose a company announcement about this,” the Danish company said.
