FRANKFURT, Aug 26 (Reuters) - Nordex said on Friday it was in talks with Acciona Energia to supply turbines for a 183 megawatt (MW) wind farm in Chile.
European renewable energy companies were among the biggest winners in a massive energy auction this month to supply Chile with power for two decades from the 2020s.
Acciona Energia was awarded the contract to feed some 500 gigawatt hours (GWh) of electricity into the grid per year.
Nordex said details would be published as soon as the parties had signed supply contracts and secured project financing. (Reporting by Maria Sheahan; Editing by Victoria Bryan)
