BRIEF-Petrobras considers voluntary dismissal plan

SAO PAULO, July 25 (Reuters) -

* The management of Brazil’s state-run oil company Petroleo Brasileiro SA, also known as Petrobras, said on Monday it had submitted to its board a proposal for voluntary retirement of workers at Petrobras Distribuidora and other subsidiaries intended for divestiture

* The communications department of the company said no date has been set for the implementation of the plan

* It said no values, scope or other dimensions of the plan have been defined

* The company is in the process of trying to sell off stakes in several of its assets to bring down its debt metrics (Writing by Reese Ewing)
