Panama posts inflation of 1.3 pct in November

PANAMA CITY, Dec 12 (Reuters) - Consumer prices in Panama rose 1.3 percent in November compared to the same month a year earlier, the national statistics office said on Monday.

Price increases in health care, restaurants and hotels and education contributed to annual inflation.

Compared with October, prices in November fell 0.1 percent, the government said, due to price drops in several categories including transportation. (Reporting by Elida Moreno; Editing by Meredith Mazzilli)
