Costa Rica economy grows 4.3 pct in 2016

SAN JOSE, Dec 22 (Reuters) - Costa Rica’s gross domestic product likely grew by 4.3 percent in 2016, a decline of 0.4 percentage points from the year prior, according to a preliminary estimate released on Thursday by Costa Rica’s central bank.

In 2017 and 2018, the central bank estimates gross domestic product will grow by 4.1 percent each year.
