Brazil pre-salt oil output surpasses other production in June

RIO DE JANEIRO, July 31 (Reuters) - Oil production in Brazil rose 0.8 percent to an average of 2.675 million barrels per day in June compared to May, as output from pre-salt offshore wells surpassed other fields for the first time, Brazil's oil regulator ANP said on Monday.

Natural gas production reached 111 million cubic meters per day last month, ANP added, 6.1 percent above May's figures. (Reporting by Marta Nogueira and Alexandra Alper)
