Brazil power generator Eneva gets approval for share offering

RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug 8 (Reuters) - Brazilian power generator Eneva S.A. got board approval on Tuesday for a share offering, the company, which is listed on the Sao Paulo exchange, said in a securities filing.

Eneva, a subsidiary of private European energy company E.ON that has assets in Chile and Colombia, said the share offer will be depend on local and international capital market conditions.

Eneva is one of the largest private power generators in Brazil, with 2.2 GW of installed power generation that accounts for 5 percent of Brazilian thermal capacity. (Reporting by Anthony Boadle; Editing by Leslie Adler)
