HOUSTON, Feb 19 (Reuters) - A fire was put out on Wednesday at a crude distillation unit (CDU) shut for an overhaul at Citgo’s Corpus Christi east refinery on Wednesday and there were no injuries reported, sources said.
The unit was undergoing a turnaround expected to last a month and finish in the middle of March, they added.
Other units at the plant continue to operate normally.
Corpus Christi is Citgo’s third largest refinery, with capacity of 163,000 barrels per day (bpd). (Reporting By Erwin Seba; Editing by Terry Wade)
