HOUSTON, May 8 (Reuters) - Argentine oil company Pluspetrol and its partners at Block 8 in Peru launched tenders to sell one 250,000 barrel cargo of Loreto crude and one 150,000 barrel cargo of Mayna crude for delivery on June 21-30 at Bayovar port, according to documents seen by Reuters on Thursday.
Pluspetrol and its partners in Camisea field sell Peruvian heavy and medium crudes, natural gasoline and virgin naphtha on the open market from several production blocks.
The Loreto crude cargo will be sold by a unit in Peru of Pluspetrol, while the Mayna cargo will be delivered by the Argentine company and its partners Korea National Oil Corp , Daewoo International Corp and SK Innovation.
Offers will be accepted until May 14 and they must be indexed to WTI or Brent crudes front month prices.
Pluspetrol sold two 300,000 barrel cargoes of natural gasoline in March on the open market and it also offered similar cargoes of Peruvian crudes in February. (Reporting by Marianna Parraga; editing by Terry Wade)
