Mexico's stock exchange suspends ICA's shares

MEXICO CITY, Aug 28 (Reuters) - Mexico’s stock exchange said on Monday that it suspended trading in shares of construction company ICA, as the firm has not met the deadline for presenting its financial earnings for the second quarter or given a reason for not doing so.

ICA, which has been struggling under a high dollar-denominated debt load, said on Friday it and its subsidiaries had filed a pre-packaged bankruptcy plan that had been subscribed to by the majority of its creditors. (Reporting by Anthony Esposito)
