Peru posts $213 mln trade surplus in July-cenbank

LIMA, Sept 8 (Reuters) - Peru posted a $213 million trade surplus in July, bringing the copper-producing country’s trade suruplus so far this year to $2.65 billion, the central bank said on Friday.

Peru registered a $1.89 billion trade surplus in all of last year, according to central bank data. Higher prices for copper and other minerals that Peru produces has increased exports. (Reporting By Mitra Taj)
