Bolivia consumer prices rise 0.12 pct in May

LA PAZ, June 5 (Reuters) - Bolivia’s consumer price index rose 0.12 percent in May, driven by increases in food and drink prices, the official National Statistics Institute said on Tuesday.

That brought the 12-month inflation rate to 3.15 percent, below the government’s target of 4.5 percent for 2018. Bolivia ended 2017 with 2.71 percent inflation. (Reporting by Daniel Ramos Writing by Luc Cohen Editing by Leslie Adler)
