S.Korea's KOSPO seeks to buy 580,000 T coal for Oct-Nov

    SEOUL, June 12 (Reuters) - Korea Southern Power Co Ltd
(KOSPO) is seeking to buy a total of 580,000 tonnes of
high-calorific coal for loading between October and November,
the state-run utility said on its website  www.kospo.co.kr/.
    The tender will close at 0100 GMT on June 16, and other
details are as follows:

        290,000  min. 6,100 kcal/kg    Nov. 2017
        290,000  min. 5,500 kcal/kg    Oct. - Nov. 2017
   
    *Note: NCV stands for Net Calorific Value. For the first
290,000-tonne coal cargo, the utility only seeks those from
Colombia, while it seeks to buy the other 290,000-tonne from one
single origin except from Colombia.
