BHP Billiton's Samarco disaster coordinator to leave company in March

MELBOURNE, Oct 27 (Reuters) - BHP Billiton said on Thursday its chief commercial officer, Dean Dalla Valle, who has led the company’s response to the Samarco dam disaster in Brazil, will leave the company in March 2017.

BHP Billiton, co-owner of Samarco with Brazil’s Vale , said it will centralise management of its stake in Samarco along side its other non-operated joint ventures into the Minerals Americas portfolio.
