MEXICO CITY, Oct 6 (Reuters) - Mexico’s Televisa has prepaid 14.771 billion pesos to a revolving credit line that it drew from in March to help weather economic uncertainty stemming from the coronavirus pandemic, the media conglomerate said on Tuesday.
The company said it reserved the right to use the credit line in the future, which is available until March 2022 for an amount equivalent to $618 million converted into Mexican pesos.
When Televisa accessed the credit on March 24, 14.771 billion pesos were equivalent to $593 million. At today’s exchange rate, the amount is equivalent to $681 million.
