Brazil bank lending spreads narrow to 24.6 percentage points in May - central bank

BRASILIA, June 26 (Reuters) - Bank lending spreads in Brazil fell in May to 24.6 percentage points from 26.2 percentage points in April, while the 90-day default ratio held steady at 4.0%, the central bank said on Friday.

The amount of outstanding loans in Brazil rose 0.3 to 3.6 trillion reais ($557 billion) in May, the central bank said.
