Brazil's Cemig prepays $104 mln of local debt owed by subsidiary - filing

SAO PAULO, July 30 (Reuters) - Brazilian state-run electricity company Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais SA has prepaid 385 million reais ($104 million) of a local debt obligation after reopening of an Eurobonds program, according to a securities filing on Monday.

The amount corresponds to 25 percent of the balance of a debt obligation at its wholly owned subsidiary Cemig Geração e Transmissão SA, the filing said. ($1 = 3.7093 reais) (Reporting by Ana Mano)
