TABLE-India's Nayara Energy's Iran oil imports fell 60 pct in Sept from Aug - trade sources

NEW DELHI, Oct 11 (Reuters) - India's Nayara Energy, part-owned by Russian oil major
Rosneft, shipped in 60 percent less Iranian oil in September than the previous
month, at about 54,200 barrels per day (bpd), according to data from the shipping industry
and sources.
Under pressure from upcoming U.S. sanctions, Nayara has been reducing its intake of
Iranian oil from June, people familiar with the plan have previously told Reuters. The
company has no plans to import Iranian oil from November.
To make up for the lower Iranian supplies, Nayara has boosted purchases of Russian
crude, the data showed.
Overall, Nayara imported 37 percent less oil in September than in August, the data
showed, before a month-long maintenance shutdown of its 400,000 bpd Vadinar refiner in
western Gujarat state from mid-November.
The sources declined to be identified as they were not authorised to speak with media.
Following are details of Nayara's crude and condensate imports. Volumes are in 1,000
bpd.

number of days.

Data also includes some crude parcels that arrived in September but discharged in
October. It also includes some parcels that arrived in August and were discharged in
September.
