Mexico president-elect says no changes planned for banking laws

MEXICO CITY, Nov 9 (Reuters) - Mexican President-elect Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador on Friday said his government would not propose any changes to banking laws during the first three years of his adminstration, sparking a sharp reversal of losses in Mexican stocks.

Lopez Obrador said that there would not be “changes to the rules of operations of banks” during the first three years. (Reporting by Mexico City newsroom)
