Mexico cenbank chief says closely monitoring markets amid uncertainty

MEXICO CITY, Nov 28 (Reuters) - Bank of Mexico Governor Alejandro Diaz de Leon on Wednesday said that the central bank was closely monitoring markets and had the instruments to act, if needed.

Diaz de Leon told reporters at a news conference in Mexico City that there had been increased uncertainty affecting Mexican financial markets during the last month which had affected the volume of trading, notably in bond markets. (Reporting by Michael O’Boyle)
